Background & expertise

I have spent 14+ years shipping product in places where the stakes are concrete — payments, insurance, fraud, and the platforms other engineers build on. Most recently that has meant taking generative AI from promising demo to something a regulated enterprise can actually run.

What I am good at: turning a fuzzy AI idea into a scoped product bet, building the evaluation and guardrail work that keeps it honest, and finding metrics that survive contact with a launch.

  • AIG

    GenAI Product Owner

Owning generative AI products end to end — discovery, evals, guardrails and the path from demo to production in a regulated enterprise.

  • Microsoft

    Product Manager, Windows Platform

Product management for the Windows platform — telemetry, diagnostics and observability services relied on across engineering organisations.

  • Mastercard

    Product Manager, Decision Management Platforms

Product management for decision management platforms — fraud and risk decisioning at enterprise scale, where a bad model call costs real money.

  • Infosys

    Technology Analyst

Fintech delivery for UK, US and Irish banks across payments, risk and core banking — the foundations everything since has been built on.

Mentoring, talks & workshops

I enjoy this part the most.

I mentor through the Global Mentorship Initiative, STEM Education and as a guest mentor at UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School — career check-ins, CV and portfolio reviews, mock PM interviews, and a structured track for breaking into product.

I also speak at colleges, seminars, meetups and company workshops on AI × product management: how AI features actually get discovered, evaluated and shipped, and the career paths opening up around them.

Why this exists

A lot of AI and product learning lists are shaped by affiliate links, which can make them hard to trust. Nothing here is affiliate-linked — I share what I have actually found useful, and if something stops being good it comes off the list.

The verdicts are honest on purpose. A clear "this is best if you build or closely own ML systems" tends to be more useful than a five-star rating, and I try to keep it that way.
